Stained glass?

I created my workshop in order to produce a small collection of lights whose essential element is glass, worked like a stained glass window… .monochrome!

In order to obtain a fine line, it is by adapting the Tiffany stained glass technique, which consists of circling the glass pieces with copper before assembling them by soldering them with pewter, that I create the lampshades.

The glass is chosen for its diffusion quality and its material, veined without excess, which gives it a unique and contemporary aesthetic. It is an artisanal shaping of a glass which is just as important!

In addition to this, you will need to know more about it.

This is one of the peculiarities that I appreciate in working with glass, which is slow, with its share of uncertainty. Because these glass plates, by their veining and their non-homogeneity can turn out to be quite undisciplined and despite the experience and mastery of cutting, it happens that the glass does not "break" according to the desired line and it is necessary to l 'accept.… And humbly start over! ...
